  1. This string gadget stores the OFFSET of the 1st character in the first
  2. (or only) NAME field.  This OFFSET is from the beginning of the DATA
  3. PORTION of the sysex file, not from the beginning of the file itself.

  5. *  This string gadget will always display a decimal numeric value.   *
  6. *  If you wish to enter a hexadecimal value, simply key the letter   *
  7. *  'H' after the number.  The hexidecimal number will automatically  *
  8. *  be converted to display as decimal;  i.e.  1aH, 23h, 4FH will be  *
  9. *  considered hexidecimal values and will be converted to decimal.   *
